She has always adored
a Fedora–rakish on a man,
foxy on a woman–the perfect
chapeau for one
and all, but especially, she thinks,
for her, because,
with such a large head, she
really needs
a man’s size hat.
And now–smack
under her nose!
Will he, she wonders,
take credit?
