Blossoms

Unfortunately, this photo when first posted only showed up partially as the App upload was too big.  I just love the line down to the green leaves and the pear blossoms in the background.  The great thing about old blossoming trees is that you can have beautiful flowers without having had to plant them!

Those are ancient-looking trees. Love the twigginess.

You know, I think the App uploads too big a picture and it does not all come out, so trying to edit it done as there are very pretty pears in the background. k.

Yes, the pears especially look old and battered, but flowering like crazy nonetheless–and it is a lovely line. The neat part for me is not just not having to plant them, but thinking of the original planters thinking of us not having to plant them…the original version of paying it forward, perhaps, because these are not just beauty, also food. Thanks–we have very few old fruit trees here so much appreciated.

  5. It doesn’t look real- more like a painting. Lovey.

  6. You’re quite right. You don’t have to exhaust yourself physically planting flowers. Nature does it for you. I love the photo. Many thanks.

    Greetings from London.
