Nest
We accidentally disturbed this nest hidden in willow stalks by a pond but were able to re-situate before it hit ground or water. Quickly left it and kept our distance. The mother seems to be revisiting it today so hopefully all is well.

Bluebirds? Or jays? How neat–though always hard to know what to do in those situations, because of doing no harm. I found a dead hummingbird on the patio yesterday–such a sad mystery, one where I’ll never know the solution. Glad this was more positive.

What a beautiful image you captured there. Glad to read that you were able to re-locate it.
Greetings from London.
