A favorite view! My father saw the bridge being built and also the addition of the Lowe level. He always marveled about it.

Thanks, Lynn. I think this is Bear Mountain or Newburgh Bridge though, not GW. I think. It is South of Poughkeepsie a bit, north of NYC.
It must have been amazing to see one of these big NY bridges built. k.

..train window pics have a tendency to be grainy because the windows are not clean..if this was the case, it turned out wonderfully…if not, it’s still a wonderful shot of one of man’s best triumphs 😉

oh wow…is that an affect on it to show the movement or is it staight out the window…its a really cool effect either way….very cool capture k….

Thanks, it is straight out the window. I did crop it and “sharpen” to bring it a bit more into focus – k.
