Overcanopy in an under leaf

I just love these pictures, though I know they are a bit hard to make out.

What I was aiming for was a puddle in the central leaf that reflected the leaf canopy above. You can see some of the contrast in the two pics. I actually took a video also where you can see the shifting light but I thought it was probably too boring and shaky to post. (Perhaps a bit like the camera person.) Have a great week.

    it looks like a little leaf-cup of iridescence. I wouldn’t have see the canopy if you hadn’t mentioned it. this is a great up-close capture.

    After all the inkblot poetry this weekend, I was seeing bees and goldfish! Beautiful, regardless. AFA the poster, shaky, maybe–boring, I doubt it.

    the ripples/reflection in that pool of water make it almost look surreal, like one step removed from reality
