Beyond Imagining (Oklahoma Tornado)

I don’t have a TV so have not been able to see much video coverage of the Oklahoma tornado. It seems just beyond conception, at least my conception. Thoughts, prayers, go to everyone out there.

hiya…maybe a good thing you cant see…its pretty brutal…and heavy on my heart as well…but hedge and mz are both ok…its the kids in the school that keep catching me…

Yes, watching some videos online right now. Just incredible. So inescapable if you are in path. Very glad about Joy and MZ, of course – but these little children and their families –

  2. Maybe it is better not to see–it is a sad thing to see so much devastation

I’ve had to stop watching the continuous coverage…it’s just too overwhelming. People will rebound and rebuild, and there are many stories about people helping, even saving each other, but it’s a terrifying experience to have something like that come out of the sky and wipe out your world–my heart just aches for the parents and teachers, and those who have lost everything they owned–I was laying in bed last night feeling almost guilty I still had a bed.

I can imagine – being so close to it. There’s the terror of the experience and then this really dreadful aftermath. You know, in NYC, there’s been certain terrible experiences, and a great deal of fear afterwards, but not so many people lost so much, or the losses were isolated in a different way. It must be very difficult. Watching some videos online, but just little snatches. I can hardly think how TV must handle. If it gets people to donate, that’s good I guess – I mean people from around the country. Take care. k.
