Elephant Drawing
For those who have been following the saga of my move and my internet losses, the wonders of partial home internet are now mine! (Partial, meaning that it works wonderfully some of the time for some devices.)
But I somehow remain quite tired and brain-parched, with still too many tasks looming to think very straight.
All of which leads me to say that I may be going visual for a little bit. Posting pics. Recouping language (I hope).
Please do visit. I will try to widen my sphere beyond elephants, but if you like elephants, you will probably find them.

Love elephants. In fact, my grandfather adores them and has several small trinkets and sculptures of them. He loves the baby elephants. Here’s to your soul healing a bit 🙂

I am hoping to move upstate – or at least trying it. I won’t be changing my work situation, but will move my residence upstate, and then come to work in office three days a week, working two days from upstate. We’ll see if it works, but I do so much on the computer that I think/hope that I can manage it. But, we’ll see! Thanks for your concern though! I really do appreciate it and hope all is well. k.

ps = I already spend a fair amount of time there and have moved almost all my things. I have a very hard couch left here in NYC and some tables and boxes!

When the brain parches, we wet it how we can–may your heffalumps suck up water from the mighty Amazon and spray it upon your dessicated brain cells–well, or from some more geographically correct river. I have days of being too brain dead to write often, with much less excuse, so don’t feel too bad, k. We only have so much energy to do so many things.

Yes. I suddenly am just not in the mood. And I am busy and tired. I will probably change my mind quickly enough but I also want to finally focus on some novel things. I don’t particularly want to work on them either right now but I want to try to work on them.

Well, knowing your pics, that can’t be bad. Good luck with the rest of the tasks – a stressful time, to be sure!

Thanks, Dave. Knowing me I will not stick to my resolve long as I do like writing and posting, as you know. Thanks for your support. k.

Karin…
You were so sweet to stop by and tell your tale of woe. If you noticed, I didn’t come looking for you last week, I figured you was moving. But this week is a different story!
I got my eye on you girl…:-)

I’m praying for you K… its certainly a stretched condition! Your talent to write and drawing willl keep nurturing your mind and heart. This is just a re-potting for your roots to keep growing !

Hey Karin,
Well, I can’t pray for you cause my phone lines are cut, but I will cheer for you and perhaps in your walk in the woods, hidden between the cracking twigs you’ll hear my cheers.
Don’t loose your obsessions! 😉

Ha, thanks. I have a bit of a break this weekend as I am out of my bare internet-challenged City apartment for these days. It’s only a bit more and I think/hope that I’ve discovered the Internet issue. I appreciate your cheers though. k.
