Picture of (add music)

*************

A not-haiku inspired by Shay (Fireblossom’s) prompt on with real toads to write a poem beginning with the words “Picture of”, and also by one of my favorite songs.  (And beverages.)

This is soooo cute. But not as cute as my lawsuit over the “s”, lol! I always love your drawings, but this is the best ever.

    Brewers?

    • ManicDdaily Says:

I don’t know Brewers. Truly, it should have been pictures as there are a few but my very faulty brain had forgotten the prompt– sorry!– and was replacing it with the song. Thanks, Shay, as always. K.

Such an endearing piece 😀 absolutely delightful.

  5. X Says:

Cute. I like the togetherness of knees.
    Separate but together. Making more.
    And some fun.

This one made me smile, Karin. The pics are fully visible in this brewer, and are charming. Is the song ‘Tea for Two?” Now I will be humming it all day.

    • ManicDdaily Says:

Yes! I should probably have included a link as I guess many do not know it but we have had a terrible time with the internet where I am and I just couldn’t bear struggling with one more upload! It is a great song– beginning, you probably know, with “picture you upon my knee, just tea for two and two for tea.” Well, it actually begins with this whole bit about I’m discontented with homes that are rented so I have invented my own– darling this place is a lovers’ oasis where life’s weary chase is unknown– far from the Cry of the city, where flowers pretty, caress the streams, lovely to hide in, to live side by side in, don’t let it abide in my dreams– then switches to the whole tea for two riff– my past as a tap dancer is coming out here I’m afraid. K.

I like the drawings, k. Not sure I got the whole message though.
Anyway, my Nespresso did fine with the your drawings, that is until the frother kicked in. The Keurig merely yawned, while Mr. Coffee was not into poetry or songs at all today.
