Happy Thanksgiving–Pleasing the Crowd
Happy Thanksgiving.
This is a reposting of older watercolors–so sorry if you’ve seen already. Pearl is still in this world–over 18–I am very thankful for that and so much else (especially your visits and your own work.) Take care.

Now I’m singing the Ricky Nelson song! (“Can’t please everyone so/you’ve got to please yourself.’) I’m glad Pearl is getting a figurative drumstick–and that she is there to mark another Thanksgiving for you. My dogs are both getting older with us, and as always I’m amazed to watch the accelerated process in them–even a month can show more white in the muzzle. Fortunately, like Pearl, they are still very happy, loving and hungry for treats, and its my mission to see they have plenty of them! Happy Thanksgiving, Karin–enjoy your holiday.

Hi Sherry–so sad. I’m not sure whether Pearl really wants to go on living. I guess all animals do, and she is still interested in some things–licking snow–but she really is terribly old right now and may not make it too much longer. Take care, have a great day. k.
