Lovely. Interesting. Colorful.
Someone put up the painting and covered the window,eh? Charming.

No, it’s all accidental actually. And reflected. There happened to be a “rainbow” in the rainbow (an old child’s painting) that was refracted light, but when I took the picture the window showed up also. I have some without window, but it seemed more interesting. k.

This has some indefinable power to attract. I keep going back to it, but useless to try to analyse it. Something basic.

Very cool, lovely even.

Thanks, Mary. In some ways, the one without the window is prettier – maybe I’ll put up – but this one definitely cooler. k.

Brian, it is so very sweet of you to write. I have been super busy actually with my job and figuring out new structure of going in and out of City and the writing I’ve done this week has all been draft poetry! The problem is that once I am not posting every day as a matter of routine, what I’ve written just doesn’t feel good enough to post. But on another level, I feel it is all part of what is driving me to think about this other project – so we’ll see. We also have been very worried about our person in Afghanistan. The drawdown is terribly dangerous and this has been a huge huge worry – makes everything else seem pretty trivial. Take care–I liked your OLN poem – very sad but good. Thanks. k.
