Carnegie Hall (sort of)
The above is a quick sketch of the stage at Carnegie Hall.
I wanted also to write a quick sketch about the stage at Carnegie Hall, which is really beautiful. The plasterwork has wonderfully florid runs, rather like the piano music. But my internet, unlike a great pianist, is not performing very well. (It’s an encore of its recent breakdown. Once more I am stuck on phone.)
Grrr…. I have spent endless amounts of time plugging and re-plugging in wires and cables. All of which saps the good old lyricism.
Maybe tomorrow.

I do hope the internet issues are solved! But, in any case, I enjoyed your visual sketch.

Sorry to hear you are still having internet problems. There seems no loss of quality from this side, though. I propose a special vote of thanks for!

Sure and secure this ability to do art with your own hands. I recently went to LaScala in Milan and was overwhelmed with its magnificence. This was a little reminder. Thanks and good luck with the internet struggles.

UGH! I do know what you mean, k. Last year I spent almost a week updating my modem, getting disconnected, having to redo passwords, deal with the evil minions of AT&T, even learn the dreaded Windows 7, which made me abandon against my will a perfectly functional WinXP OS. It was horrible. Of course, the only thing more horrible was going without internet! ;_) May the gods of the internet show mercy soon.

Thanks. It’s the uncertainty that is part of the problem. This problem was a neighborhood-wide outtage, I found later, so maybe it will be fixed by this evening. It’s pretty silly. k.
