Last Day In Buenos Aires
Last day in Buenos Aires, and it feels, for the first time, like some form of winter could actually be coming. (Maybe because this is also our first day of rain.) The city, by the way, is lovely in the rain.
Wait! Sun has come out! (Forget about some form of winter! And loveliness in the rain! Actually its still raining, but brightly sunny too, and lovely.)

O how I wish I had thought of it soooner.
I once took a carriage ride around and through a park in Buenos Aires. Just as I had begun to realize what a wonderful time I was having, I noticed something
moving on the otherside of shrubbery lining the road. I was the head of a giraffe that was wallking alongside my carriage. Holy cow! I was at the National Zoo!
The ride got even better, but my great delight came as in an absolute surprise.
Ay, carrumba!

Ofcourse “I was (not) the head of a giraffe”, it was the head of a giraffe that was lopping alongside its fence. Beyond it I could see elephants and rhinoceros.
My driver was too gracious.
I’ve enjoyed your BA blog.
I also remember a working class tango palace recommended by Narcissa, a dizzingly romantic place that came to life after 1:45 A.M. Your elephants do know how to tango. I’m impressed.

Hi Savannah! We also walked by the National Zoo, but mainly were conscious of zoo smells! It is right near the incredibly lovely botannical garden and also the Japanese garden. We had a great time; thanks for reading, and thanks for your story. K.
