Interesting for the shapes, colors, and textures. I love earth worms and salamanders. A nice collection.

We saw a gorgeous mottled green and brown and chartreuse snake this week–no idea what it was, but it was just beautiful. Lizards are my fave, though–their little beady eyes remind me of toy dogs. ;_)

I have many many many photos of little efts – the little orange ones – I just love them. But these were just taken yesterday, picking up rocks–“herping” as my daughters call it. There are all kinds of weird salamanders under them – the black and gold ones – that you — or at least I == have never seen above ground. They do look like funny little dogs with their eyes to the side. k.
